Belief 03:34
Is it alright to lie just to make someone feel good Is it alright to steal if you’re starving Is it alright to kill to protect all your loved ones Is it alright to die if you’re suffering Belief belief belief is a dangerous thing Belief belief belief has given me wings Release release release is the thing we all crave Belief belief belief has the power to save I would never challenge the beliefs that you hold true Because you are a part of me and I’m a part of you But i can feel the sliver driven deep into my eye To see you use your own beliefs for making people cry Belief belief belief can destroy someone’s life Belief belief belief can grow heavy with time And grief grief grief May be all that you have you have But belief belief belief can make good out of bad Sometimes I have to question the contraption of free will It leads a man to love and sends another one to kill And everybody wonders if there’s justice in the end But would you reach a hand out If the killer was your friend Belief belief belief lifts us up when we fall Belief belief belief may be the death of us all And peace and peace and peace May not come in our time Belief belief belief Is a ladder to climb Is it alright to lie just to make someone feel good Is it alright to steal if you’re starving Is it alright to kill to protect all your loved ones Is it alright to die if you’re suffering

Sunday morning Sun is warming The locks of your golden hair Tide is creeping And dear your sleeping Out in the morning air But you were tossing You were turning Nightmares upon your face You were shaking You were waking What made you so afraid Close your eyes Child Close your eyes Close your eyes Child Close your eyes Sunday morning Sun is warming The locks of your golden hair Tide is creeping And dear your sleeping Out in the morning air But you were tossing You were turning Nightmares upon your face You were shaking You were waking What made you so afraid Close your eyes Child Close your eyes Close your eyes Child Close your eyes

Call it Luck 04:10
Lost my car my job apartment and began to run amok Lost my sanity and finally my girlfriend got fed up So i ended up on the freeway playing chicken with a truck ‘till a pair of nice policemen came along and picked me up Before i was struck Went to Ireland stopped taking all my pills and i gave up Smoking too much hash i lost myself again and i got stuck I was sent to an asylum hearing voices in lockup And when i tried to resist i was straight jacketed and struck Call it luck I remember hearing Hitler laugh as i knelt down to pray I remember hearing Jesus say he could not heal my pain I remember Satan saying i would never get away I remember when god told me she was actually insane All in my brain For sixteen weeks i did not speak I'd nothing left to say I remember some experiences i cannot convey I remember how the universe was all about decay I kept searching in my mind i hoped I'd find a passageway To being okay Now it has been three years and things are finally looking up I have my sanity my dignity my music and no crutch I've never been so centered with no signs of cracking up After being so far away so long I'm finally in touch Call it luck

I can’t get to sleep again Something’s melted on my brain I don't know where it has been Help me if you can help me I keep waking in the night I know everything’s alright But i feel so damn uptight Help me if you can help me I cant wake up from this dream I want to but cannot scream Something’s wrong with my bloodstream Help me of you can help me I can’t get to sleep again Something’s melted on my brain I don't know where it has been Help me if you can help me I keep waking in the night I know everything’s alright But i feel so damn uptight Help me if you can help me I cant wake up from this dream I want to but cannot scream Something’s wrong with my bloodstream Help me of you can help me

Heart Attack 02:55
My neighbor’s dog died There was nothing they could do It happens every day It was all he had left There was nothing he could do It gave him a heart attack Please god don’t let it end this way Don’t ever let it end Please god don't take my life away Please god don't kill my friends Please god don’t let it end this way Don’t ever let it end Please god don't take my life away Please god don't kill my friends It was all he had left There was nothing he could do It gave him a heart attack

Something of us floats in the ether Our bodies grow up from the ground And for awhile they live together One day it leaves without a sound We all ride on the merry go round Every time we are someone new Just who there is no way of knowing You may be me and I may be you We may be something else altogether Every time we are made again We may be nothing but the dreamer And the dream about some little men And in the end we may may be nothing Or everything alive as one We all ride on the merry go round And i don't think that we're ever done We all ride on the merry go round (We all ride on) We all ride on the merry go round (We all ride on) We all ride on the merry go round (We all ride on) We all ride on the merry go round (We all ride on)

Anamnesis 03:03
Haven't I seen this place before Maybe I'm dreaming I'm never sure Sometimes my dreams are unfamiliar Didn't I know you once before I can't remember anymore It feels like I've known you forever As we drift from plane to plane And brain to brain Although I can't recall your name I know I'll love you all the same And when we finally awaken From this dream I will be you and you will be me And all the dreamers will be free Haven't I seen this place before Maybe I'm dreaming I'm never sure Sometimes my dreams are unfamiliar Didn't I know you once before I can't remember anymore It feels like I've known you forever As we drift from plane to plane And brain to brain Although I can't recall your name I know I'll love you all the same And when we finally awaken From this dream I will be you and you will be me And all the dreamers will be free

Nothing can kill me Until I die I've got that ace in the hole In my pocket by my side Then I'll fly away For some pie in the sky But nothing can kill me Until I die Nothing can kill me Until I die I've got that ace in the hole In my pocket by my side Then I'll fly away For some pie in the sky But nothing can kill me Until I die

Everything was once a ray of sunlight And everything was once a cloud Energy can never be expended And no exceptions are allowed Everything was once a drop of water It all was once a grain of sand Everything contains the golden spiral Twisted like genetic strands Everything in life is but a fractal Branches and fingers roots and toes All matter is infinitely recursive There’s no end to how deep it goes Every molecule is always living And all that lived is still alive Existence is a gift that keeps on giving No need to struggle to survive Everything was once a ray of sunlight And everything was once a cloud Energy can never be expended And no exceptions are allowed Everything was once a drop of water It all was once a grain of sand Everything contains the golden spiral Twisted like genetic strands You were once a field of blooming daisies And you were once a dying bird Try to comprehend just how amazing Try to imagine how absurd

She's been a long time a-comin' But she's finally hit the scene You can label her an act of god honey But don't you call her mean So if you lose your condo And your city's swept away Be grateful that there's someone there To sweep up the decay Grandma ocean oh, she's always got a job to do Grandma ocean And she's washing right over you Grandma ocean she's the bluest of the blue Through and through Well the tides are a-turnin' And returnin' us to her womb There are seashells on the mountaintops honey Swept up there by her broom So when she floods your mini-mall And knocks on your front door Invite her in to stay a spell She's takin' back the shore Grandma ocean oh, she's always got a job to do Grandma ocean And she's washing right over you Grandma ocean she's the bluest of the blue Through and through The bluest of the blue The bluest of the blue The bluest of the bluest of the blue The bluest of the blue The bluest of the bluest of the blue The bluest of the blue The bluest of the bluest of the blue The bluest of the blue The bluest of the bluest of the blue
